API Status vs Issues
The API Status category is used for temporary delays and outages that occur in QuantRocket's or a third party's remote infrastructure. These delays and outages occur outside of user deployments and generally require no user action to resolve.
In contrast, any bugs or problems in the QuantRocket software itself are tracked in the Issues category. Once an issue is resolved, users must install an updated version of the software to obtain the fix. The Issues category is also used to track data QA issues that have a longer turnaround time than the delays and outages posted under the API Status category.
In short, the API Status category has a higher urgency and faster turnaround time than the Issues category.
