Pre-purchase EDI coverage check for historical US OTC and delisted equities

We are evaluating EDI end-of-day equity data for a historical survivorship-bias-free research project. Before purchasing the dataset, could you please confirm whether EDI covers the historical securities and date ranges listed below?

The main requirement is historical US OTC/Pink Sheet coverage from 2007–2011, including securities that moved from a primary exchange to OTC trading after delisting, bankruptcy, or reorganization.

We require the historically held old common stock only. Replacement shares issued after Chapter 11 must not be substituted or linked retrospectively to the old security.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Which EDI exchange codes or MICs cover historical OTC Bulletin Board, Pink Sheets, and related US OTC venues?
  2. Whether point-in-time ticker symbols and ticker transitions such as .PK and .OB are retained.
  3. Whether delisted and cancelled old common shares remain searchable after bankruptcy, acquisition, or reorganization.
  4. For each security below, whether unadjusted daily OHLCV data are available for the requested date or period.
  5. Which minimum EDI exchange package would cover the confirmed securities.

Please identify any matches using the historical issuer name, security/share class, permanent security identifier, MIC or venue, and first/last available price date. A match based only on ticker text would not be sufficient for our validation.

No raw data sample is required. A row-by-row coverage indication, or confirmation of which requested securities are covered, would be sufficient.

Some symbols are collision-sensitive. In particular:

  • INCLF / N refers to the historical Inco Limited common shares, not NetSuite.
  • WFT refers to the pre-2014 Weatherford security, not the later post-reorganization WFRD equity.
  • DALRQ , CPNLQ , CITGQ , DPHIQ , VSTNQ , ABKFQ , MTLQQ , and similar bankruptcy cases refer exclusively to the old common shares that were subsequently cancelled.
  • SXCL refers to the Adaptec/ADPT → Steel Excel lineage, including the OTC continuation after Nasdaq trading ended.
  • NAV includes the historical Navistar NAVZ lineage and must not be matched solely on the modern or reused ticker.
  • ATVI refers to the historical Activision security and not Microsoft following the acquisition.
