Multiple Paper-Trading Accounts Error

Hi guys,

Got this error on my local deployment during migration from v1 to v2.
Thoughts/Comments:

  1. I have a cloud deployment using same paper account, but this wasn't an issue during v1.
  2. Yes, I've tried logging in and out of this GUI with both paper accounts, same error persists.
  3. I get the bottom picture if I try logging in and out with either of the paper-account logins after 2 attempts.

I don't see anything QuantRocket-specific here. If you can't login manually, QuantRocket won't be able to log in either. QuantRocket uses a program called IBC (aka IB Controller) to type in your credentials for you. Based on the error message I would just say try using your paper credentials but it sounds like you have done that.

I believe it's because I had multiple paper-trading accounts under the same primary account within IB. I had to delete one of the extra paper accounts within IB's Account Settings. Once I reset my original paper-trading account credentials within QR it proceeded as normal.
