License check timeout increase

Is there a way to increase the time between license checks?

Sometimes we have internet outages and it may take a few hours for the connection issue to be resolved. If I am in the process of running a long backtest the internet connectivity can kick out the backtest due to the license retry process.

I am sure having a license check over several hours should not be a problem.

I’m not sure what you’re seeing but the license service won’t revoke your permission due to an internet connectivity issue. It will just keep trying (reporting the errors in flightlog) and meanwhile will use the permissions profile it had previously stored in its cache. At any given time you can run quantrocket license get to see what the license service is currently seeing.
