Based on the referenced SEC rule change, QuantRocket should not be affected. According to the referenced rule, the round lot size will change for stocks priced above $250 (e.g. the round lot size will change from 100 shares to 40 shares for a stock priced between $250 and $1000). Older versions of the TWS API used to send volume for US stocks in lots, not shares, which this SEC rule change would impact. But for several years the recommended IB Gateway configuration (which QuantRocket uses) has been to receive volume in shares, not lots (this is accomplished by leaving unchecked the setting "Send market data in lots for US stocks for dual-mode API clients"). Since QuantRocket is already receiving volume in shares, the SEC rule change to lot size for higher-priced stocks isn't relevant.
However, I'll continue to monitor for additional information about this notice on the TWS mailing list to determine whether an IB Gateway update is necessary.

My quantrocket is the latest version. I do use TWS API directly as well for some trades. Thanks for looking into it.
After consulting with IBKR, I've confirmed that QuantRocket will not be impacted and an IB Gateway update is not necessary at this time.
