I am a new subscriber learning as I go. I was wondering why when I am connected to the IB gateway live, the number of client tabs keep increasing..
Am I missing something in the configuration?

This is normal. Each QuantRocket service and/or process connects to IB Gateway using a unique client ID. For each new client ID, IB Gateway creates a new tab, and doesn't remove the tab even after the service or process disconnects. So most of the tabs represent inactive, past connections. Tabs are cleared out the next time you restart IB Gateway.
