Was working on a temporary project that required downloading a bunch of securities that I don't normally work with, and won't use in the future. I would like to remove these securities from my security master. Is there an easy way to do this other than manually deleting from the SQLite database?
There is not. Many other services (history, realtime, fundamental, blotter) may have the sids in their own databases and deleting the securities would break that.
Ah ok, that's what I was afraid of. What about starting over with a fresh security master? I basically just want to get back to the usstock universe of around 10k stocks. Would the master automatically be recreated if I wiped the whole SQLite database?
