Daily prices missing

After downloading the daily update today I noticed while running a backtest that the price of a quite a few securities that was in the portfolio is missing for yesterday and has therefore magically disappeared from my zipline portfolio. After checking I see that that prices did not update.

Could you see what the issue is and if we get this updated please?

Thanks

These query results are as expected. As stated in the usage guide, the US stock dataset updates in the middle of the night with the prior day's data. Therefore, 2022-05-11 (yesterday) was expected to be NaN at the time of your post, but is now populated because the data updated overnight. 2022-05-12 (today) is expected to be NaN because the trading day hasn't happened yet.

Thanks Brian. I had an issue regarding UAA which magically disappeared from the portfolio.holdings without any exit trade from one day to the next!. I thought it was related to the pricing update somehow. After updating the daily prices today, now it shows up as the position was exited by an exit trade last week! Which was not the case before.

I really don't know what happened. And why would a portfolio position just disappear from the holdings in zipline from one day to the next in the backtest? I have no idea what could cause that.
Any light on this phenomenon would be appreciated.

It's impossible to say without digging into the strategy code. Feel free to reach out privately if you want to do that under a paid support retainer.
